Can intelligence help you notice beauty before it disappears
People often learn about a striking sunset only after someone else has already posted a photo of it. Pink Sky Predictor is my personal AI application for noticing fleeting beauty while it is still happening, rather than processing information after the fact. I created and built it independently, from the question and research through the application logic and interface. It applies AI to perception and attention, not only efficiency, and turns live conditions into the small human act of looking up.
A number sitting next to a poem
The application pairs every probability it generates with a poetic reference, a line from Dickinson, Fitzgerald, Saint-Exupery, Doerr, deliberately setting a computed number next to a felt, literary register. That pairing is the proposition itself: whether a quantified prediction and a human observation can share the same frame without one flattening the other. I built the data retrieval, application logic and interface myself, live Singapore weather turned into a rotating probability, styled as an invitation to look up rather than a dashboard to check.
A daily ritual of looking up
The application establishes a daily observation window: a moment the interface can prompt, explain what is happening in the sky in plain language, and invite someone to report back what they saw. It is a recurring practice of intelligence and attention working together rather than intelligence replacing the act of looking up. That is the creative and technical proposition I continue to develop through Pink Sky Predictor.
